A book qualifies when the central romance is sapphic and at least one romantic lead is explicitly trans according to the text, the author, the publisher or a reliable specialist review. A “transgender” tag on a book database, a cover, or a character’s appearance is never enough. We held 73 books that had only that kind of evidence.
We record the exact identity wording the source uses and never merge nonbinary into trans unless the source does. Where a blurb confirms a trans lead but not which character it is, the book stays in only if everything else is verified, and the card says so.
Heat uses the LRR scale: L1 no on-page sex, L2 closed door, L3 open door, L4 explicit, L5 very explicit. Endings are recorded only when a source confirms them; a series HEA never counts for book one.
